• This Frank Lloyd Wright Architecture Nakomis Statue is made of designer designer composite polystone resin, hand painted and polished. Polystone which is composed of polyurethane, resin, and mixed with powdered stone additives that give it added weight and a porcelain or “stone-like” feel. Polystone is very durable and delivers a cleaner, more substantial representation of an original sculpture than other common materials.
• This Frank Lloyd Wright Architecture Nakomis Statue measures 17.25″ tall, 7.75″ long and 3.75″ deep approximately. It weighs about 7.25 pounds.
• This breathtaking sculpture was originally designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1923 to be located at the entry pools to the Community of Nakoma Country Club in Madison, Wisconsin. The Native American warrior, Nakomis, is a rectilinear design – Proud, angular and striking. With a commanding, fatherly presence he teaches his son to shoot with a bow and arrow. Painted in striking gold, this sculpture is breathtakingly luxurious and sophisticated.
